Guide Review - Fast, Fun & Easy Fabric Bowls

Usually, my mother and I will share a book and transport it between houses. Once we saw this book (many places were sold out locally) we HAD to have it! Sharing this one just wouldn't be an option and we both own our own copies!

For my own home, these bowls will make a perfect "catch all" for the many places my family takes advantage of cluttering any horizontal surface. They will even be safe in the bathroom, where I hate having glass for fear that it will fall and break! At least with their treasures in a fabric bowl, it will be just one item to move when cleaning becomes a necessary part of life.

I know many people on my Christmas list are going to be receiving a set of nesting fabric bowls... after all... I found this fabric that will be just perfect in particular rooms of their homes.

Train fabric for my husband or maybe planets. Dolphins for one daughter, stars and moons for another. An oriental theme for one son, hot rods for the other.

Oh Yes.. teacher gifts... I know I saw a perfect music theme fabric for the music teacher. The planet fabric will be great for the science teacher. The possibilities are absolutely endless!

These bowls can use those small pieces of fabric that we all have and are a fast, fun project. I strongly suggest buying the interfacing as yardage to prevent waste. After making a few, I see very little waste!

Note:Thanks to a forum member sharing, I discovered that for a limited time, Long Creek Mills has an interfacing called Stiffy, that works as well as other brand name for $1/yard. I have been very happy with the items I have received.
